The monumental CONEXPO-CONAGG Show is in Las Vegas this week. More than 100,000 construction and heavy equipment industry experts representing hundreds of companies are in Las Vegas for what is expected to be a record-breaking convention. This show is so enormous that it is held only every three years. According to reports, it took 45 days just to set up the myriad of trucks, cranes, and other equipment which cover nearly every square inch of the Las Vegas Convention Center and surrounding parking lots. Here are a few ideas and concepts that caught my eye as I look ahead to the show which gets underway Tuesday, March 4 and runs through March 8.

Is It Time to Buy Your .Build Website Domain?

There is a new world of internet domains becoming available and at booth #65831 in the ConExpo Show/Tech and Construction Pavilion you can learn all about the new .Build internet real estate presence for construction businesses. Officials representing .build say they are not a start-up company, but a part of the new internet infrastructure.  Learn more HERE.

Meet Danica Patrick at PEAK Commercial and Industrial

While the CONEXPO-CONAGG is serious business, the show is also known for being fun, exciting, and a place to meet legends and heroes. One such opportunity is available at the PEAK Commercial and Industrial booth where you can meet NASCAR star Danica Patrick. Patrick is one of the most popular drivers and is an ambassador for the entire PEAK family of products. Visit the PEAK C&I Booth #534 on Wednesday, March 5th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm for your chance to meet her in person. For more than 50 years, PEAK’s parent company, Old World Industries, LLC, has been a leader in the development and distribution of high-quality automotive and heavy duty products. PEAK Commercial & Industrial products provide the industries that drive the economy with the highest level of protection for fleets and all vehicles, equipment, and machinery. Learn more HERE.

Caterpillar Will Display Four Areas Totaling 60,000 Square Feetcat_17

Four Caterpillar exhibit areas totaling about 60,000 square feet of space—among the largest total display space at the show—will showcase more than 40 machines, most with integrated technologies that help equipment operators, managers and owners get the most from each machine throughout its full life cycle. The displays also present a variety of Cat work tools, U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final engines, components and service parts, all designed and manufactured to optimize the performance of Cat machines.

More than a dozen new Cat machines will make their North American trade show debut at CONEXPO-CON/AGG. The newest Cat machines to be displayed include F Series hydraulic excavators, M Series medium wheel loaders, new C Series articulated trucks and G Series off-highway rigid-frame trucks, a new track-type tractor, a new wheel tractor-scraper and a new track drill. See more about the Caterpillar presence HERE.
